2025 was a standout year for IPification.
Across new telco partnerships, bank and app deployments, industry events, and international recognition, the year reflected a broader shift happening across the mobile ecosystem. Mobile identity and seamless, secure authentication are gaining real momentum globally, as businesses look for stronger alternatives to passwords and SMS-based verification.
IPification is proud to be part of that movement, working alongside mobile operators, banks, platforms, and ecosystem partners to strengthen mobile security and improve digital experiences for billions of users worldwide.
Here’s how the year unfolded.
January 2025
Expanding Carrier API Authentication in the Middle East
IPification opened the year with a strategic partnership with stc Kuwait, bringing advanced carrier API-based authentication services to the Kuwaiti market. Through the collaboration, IPification’s mobile authentication capabilities were integrated into stc Kuwait’s digital ecosystem, enabling seamless and secure verification experiences built directly on mobile network intelligence.
The partnership marked an important step in IPification’s regional expansion and set the tone for the year ahead: passwordless, network-driven authentication scaling through close collaboration with mobile operators.
March 2025
Mobile World Congress Barcelona: A Defining Moment
March brought one of the most defining moments of the year with IPification’s presence at Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2025. The week was marked by deep partner engagement, ecosystem alignment, and tangible progress across the carrier API landscape.

Several milestones converged at MWC. EY joined IPification as its official Financial and Growth Advisor. CSL became the first mobile network operator in Hong Kong to offer IPification Number Verify APIs via the CAMARA project. Telin of Telkom Indonesia strengthened its collaboration with IPification. The team also shared a booth with ADA, highlighting the strength of ecosystem-driven innovation.

MWC wasn’t just about visibility. It reflected how mobile identity, telco APIs, and authentication are maturing together, and how IPification is positioned at that intersection.

Strengthening the Ecosystem: Partnerships and Deployments
March also saw a series of announcements that reinforced IPification’s momentum beyond the event floor.
IPification announced a strategic partnership with ADA to deliver next-generation mobile authentication for applications. The collaboration combined carrier-based verification with enterprise digital ecosystems, supporting more seamless and secure user experiences without passwords or SMS OTPs.
At the same time, IPification entered a collaboration agreement with Telin to advance network API authentication solutions, enabling mobile number verification using direct network signals rather than one-time codes.
The month concluded with a strong consumer deployment: E-GetS, a leading food delivery app in Southeast Asia, integrated IPification’s 1-Click Mobile Authentication. The deployment demonstrated how network-based authentication performs in high-frequency, everyday consumer environments, where speed and reliability directly impact user retention.
April 2025
Mobile Identity in Focus Across GSMA Events
April shifted the spotlight toward thought leadership and real-world adoption.
At the GSMA Digital Nation Summit in Hanoi, IPification CEO Stefan Kostic joined a Fireside Chat moderated by Kevin Henry, Head of Strategic Engagement at GSMA, discussing the future of authentication and the growing role of privacy-first mobile identity in building digital trust.

Later the same day, at the GSMA ASEAN Fintech Forum, Stefan explored how mobile identity is evolving within fintech and why frictionless, network-based authentication is becoming essential as fraud pressures increase.

The month continued with IPification’s presence at Apidays Singapore, engaging with the API community on how carrier-based authentication fits into a broader API-first world.
April also delivered a major production milestone. OTP Banka Srbija integrated IPification’s 1-Click Phone Number Verification into its mobile banking app, streamlining onboarding and re-login flows while reducing reliance on SMS OTPs and exposure to phishing and SIM-swap fraud.
May 2025
Banking Momentum and Global Telco Conversations
In May, IPification attended International Telecoms Week in Washington D.C. CEO Stefan Kostic spent the week reconnecting with industry peers and discussing where mobile authentication and network-driven identity are headed at a global level.
Shortly after, Raiffeisen Banka Srbija deployed IPification’s 1-Click Phone Number Verification within its mBanking application. The deployment reinforced a growing pattern across financial institutions: stronger security outcomes delivered with less friction, powered by trusted mobile network intelligence.
July 2025
Turning Network Intelligence into Anti-Fraud Tools
In July, IPification returned to the GSMA Digital Nation Summit, this time in Singapore. CEO Stefan Kostic joined a panel titled “The Power of Network Intelligence – Leveraging Telco APIs to Outsmart Scammers,” alongside industry leaders from Nokia, Novare, Globe Telecom, and GSMA.
The discussion focused on how telecom operators are transforming core network capabilities into API-powered anti-fraud tools, from SIM swap detection to number verification and seamless mobile authentication.
August 2025
Trust, Standards, and Real-World Demonstrations
August extended that conversation across the region.
At the GSMA Digital Nation Summit in Islamabad, IPification Country Manager for Indonesia, Erikson Nazirwan, joined the “Trust by Design” panel to discuss how open APIs, global standards, and responsible innovation help build user trust. Later, he presented on the shift from SMS OTP to silent verification, highlighting why seamless, fraud-resistant authentication is gaining regulatory and industry support.
Later in the month, IPification supported a live demonstration of Google Firebase Phone Number Verification at BATIC 2025, alongside Telin and Telkomsel. The demo showcased network-based verification in action on a live operator network, underscoring ecosystem collaboration in practice.
The team also attended Telkomsel Enterprise Solution Day in Jakarta, continuing conversations with enterprise partners around mobile authentication and digital services.

October 2025
Financial Services, Industry Leadership, and Team Culture
October was one of the most layered months of the year.
IPification announced that Canadia Bank had integrated its mobile authentication and phone number verification solutions, further strengthening IPification’s footprint in Southeast Asia and reinforcing adoption among leading regional banks.
The month also featured strong industry presence. IPification leaders participated in the MEF Leadership Forum Indonesia, India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, and BankInfo 2025 in Belgrade. At BankInfo, Regional Business Development Manager Aleksa Pavlovic opened Tech Day with a session on preventing phishing through mobile authentication without passwords or OTPs.
October wasn’t only about stages and deployments. Team IPification also joined the Belgrade Business Run, turning a local event into a meaningful moment of teamwork, and energy. It was a reminder that behind the technology and partnerships is a team that shows up together, on and off the track.

Industry Recognition for Innovation and Leadership
Following a year of sustained execution, IPification’s work in mobile identity received international recognition.
In 2025, IPification was named Global Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise, recognizing its contributions to advancing privacy-first, network-based authentication. The company was also named a BIZZWINNER 2025 at the BIZZ Awards, honoring excellence in innovation and business leadership.
These recognitions reflected the year as a whole: not just activity, but impact.
November–December 2025
Closing the Year on a Global Stage
The final months of 2025 reinforced IPification’s global footprint.
In November, the team attended the GSMA Digital Nation Summit in Manila and MWC Doha 2025. At MWC Doha, CEO Stefan Kostic joined a roundtable on Open Gateway and programmable networks, discussing how advanced carrier APIs unlock new business models and strengthen frictionless mobile authentication.

December closed the year with IPification at the GSMA Technology Summit: Australasia in Sydney, where Founder Harry Cheung spoke on telco APIs and the next wave of security and growth.
